The NSS unit of BRSPGC is actively engaged in community service, social awareness, and youth development activities.

About NSS

National Service Scheme (NSS) is a Central Sector Scheme of Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. It provides opportunity to the student youth of 11th & 12th Class in schools and UG/PG in colleges through participation in various government led community service activities and programmes.

NSS Activities

  • Village adoption and rural development programmes
  • Blood donation camps organized twice a year
  • Swachh Bharat Abhiyan – cleanliness drives
  • Tree plantation and environmental awareness
  • Adult literacy and digital literacy programs
  • Health and hygiene awareness camps
  • National Integration Camp (NIC) participation

How to Join NSS

  • Open to all UG and PG students of the college
  • Register with the NSS Programme Officer at the beginning of academic year
  • Minimum 240 hours of community service required over 2 years
  • NSS certificate issued to students completing required hours
