Baba Ramdev Smarak Post Graduate College has a ZERO TOLERANCE policy towards ragging in any form. Any act of ragging will be dealt with strictly as per the UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009, and the directions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India.
What is Ragging?
Ragging constitutes one or more of any of the following acts, whether physically, verbally or by any written/electronic means:
- Any conduct by any student or students whether by words spoken or written or by an act which has the effect of teasing, treating or handling with rudeness any other student
- Indulging in rowdy or undisciplined activities which causes or is likely to cause annoyance, hardship or psychological harm or to raise fear or apprehension
- Asking students to do any act that causes shame or to embarrass or to humiliate
- Any act that prevents, disrupts or disturbs the regular academic activity of a student
- Exploiting the services of a junior student for personal benefit
- Any financial extortion or forceful expenditure
- Any act of physical abuse including sexual abuse
Punishment for Ragging

Anti-Ragging Undertaking
Every student and their parent/guardian must submit a signed Anti-Ragging Undertaking at the time of admission as per UGC directives.
